Castle Cary RFC was the venue for a Tag Rugby Festival that provided a fitting climax to five weeks of coaching for boys and girls aged 12 and under in Area East primary schools.

Over 200 children, representing 21 teams from 16 schools, took part in the Festival. It was co-ordinated by SSDC and supported by Castle cary RFC, Somerset RFU and King Arthur's Specialist Sports College.
