Welcome everyone to the end of season update.

Make sure you come and join us for the various activities going on in the closed season:

Friday 21st July: Adult Tag Rugby Tournament
Bring the family along, have a beer and a bite to eat from the BBQ as well as watching grown men and women make fools of themselves.

Saturday 12 August: Dinner & Dance
Dance the night away to our live band. A hog roast dinner is included in the price of the tickets, which are £10. Contact any committee member for tickets or further details.

Sunday 20 August: Annual Fun Day
A great day out for all the family. It's a Knockout, pig racing, children's races, kids' rides, BBQ and much more. Free admission for families!

At the July committee meeting, it was decided that we should become a no-smoking club. This was communicated at the AGM earlier this month. Many other clubs have already taken this step and it will only be a matter of time before legislation forces us down this route anyway.

I will send the next newsletter out early in the new season with the 2006/7 fixture book.
