Ivel Barbarians 2nd v CCRFC

Cary travelled to Yeovil with a strengthened team, thanks to the return of Russell Churchhouse on the open flank.

Cary's back row overpowered Ivel in the open play. We forced numerous errors on the Ivel three-quarters that resulted in an early try for winger Jamie Smith.

Ivel did well to equal the score at half-time with plenty of possession and territory. In reply, Cary upped their game and produced two well-worked tries.

Cary's lead was short-lived as Ivel rallied in the last quarter to level the scores with only minutes to go. Although disappointed with the draw, Cary should take heart from a good performance.
