UNDER 8s v WELLS
The game was played in very much better conditions than last week. It was evenly matched with Wells taking the lead in the first half; Cary evened the score in the second half. All played well and are looking forward to their next game.

UNDER 10s v WELLINGTON
Good defence from Cary held out a big and very mobile Wellington team, who used their better hands to feed a good back line. However, strong tackling from Cary's Jack Clothier and George Shepherd held Wellington to a 5–10 loss.

UNDER 10s v WELLS
Upset by their first defeat of the season, the Cary squad started their subsequent game against Wells well, with a try from the kick-off from Tom Wilkinson. Wells pushed up from the restart to score, with this trend continuing for the remainder of the match. Man of the Match was awarded to Tom Willkinson.
Tries: Jack Clothier (2), Liam Atkins (1), Tom Wilkinson (2).

UNDER 11s v WELLINGTON
On a day made for rugby both sides took part in a frenetic contest. Cary started confidently despite Wellington beating Wells U11 earlier in the 3-way tie at Wells. Wellington distributed the ball very well and were confident when passing and running with the ball. Cary defended enthusiastically and both sides tackled ferociously.

The game went both ways but eventually Wellington scored four times to run out winners of this hotly contested match. Man of the Match and captain of the team for Cary was James Voysey for his leadership, positive attitude and crunching tackles.

UNDER 11s v WELLS
After a hard fought encounter with Wellington, Cary played a Wells side determined to take something out of the day after their 20 - 0 defeat by Wellington. Wells soon scored as they took the game to Cary from the first whistle. The pace caught Cary on the back foot and at times not all were playing as a team. Having said that there were often long passages of relentless play that did both sides proud.

With both the scrum and line-out being equally matched it was the loose play that caused Cary to concede three tries during the match. The team determination of Wells eventually proved the difference in this tie. With the best overall performance, the assembled parents gave the Man of the Match accolade to Cameron Aptakre-Davis.

MIXED UNDER 16s v WARMINSTER
Castle Cary travelled to Warminster, where the hosts fielded a very large and strong squad. The game was evenly matched from the start. Warminster kicked through against the run of play and caught Cary off guard to score the first try which they converted. Cary continued to play well, Warminster scored their second try in similar circumstances to the first. Cary continued to hold their own against a much stronger scrum. Joe Pullen took a lot of the Warminster ball in the scrum, and just before half-time Warminster scored a third try to make the half time score 19–0.

Cary upped their game in the second half, pressurising Warminster. Devon Waine intercepted the Warminster ball and, with his lightning speed, scored under the post for Chris Wake to convert. The game remained evenly matched but time was against the Cary squad, who didn't succeed in getting the ball over the line. Joe Pullen was Cary's Man of the Match.
