In response to early tries from Cary's Gareth Watts and Tom Hutchinson, the visitors gained their only try, leaving the half time score at 12–5.

The second half saw tries from Ariel Soto, Gareth Watts, and, in the closing minutes of play, Nathan Evans. Ben Snook secured two conversions. Man of the Match was awarded to Gareth Watts.
