With Cary nearly at full strength for only the second time this season, Frome were in for a bit of a shock.

Lukas Rautenbach, playing his last game before heading off to pastures new — we wish him all the best — couldn't have given us a better start by providing us with an early lead, followed closely by a try from wing James Hills.

Frome couldn't handle the running rugby that Cary took to them, using all the elements to their advantage.

The visitors put a score on the board with a penalty in the second half, before Cary cranked it up a gear and gave their two scorers another try each, bringing the score to 20-3 at the final whistle.
