Burnham-on-Sea 2nd v CCRFC

Cary were pleased to add to their run of victories by such a wide margin but were frustrated at being forced to play uncontested scrums due to the lack of a Burnham front row.

Since Burnham only fielded twelve men, Cary balanced the numbers at half-time by lending several players to the hosts. Cary captain, James Atkins, played out of position at scrum-half.

Gareth Watts secured the first try, with Freddie Loxton completing a fine hat trick. Other scorers included Gary Reynolds, Lee Hansford, Tommy Hemsworth and Ben Snook.

Having come out of retirement for the game, Brian Hunt was awarded Man of the Match and also received the unofficial Best Legs on the Pitch award from the spectators.
