Castle Cary seconds took a full team to Weston but the opposition could only field 13 with no front row, so the game went uncontested.

Cary started well and scored two early tries by Devon Waine and Gary Reynolds but the hosts soon responded by scoring two tries of their own. However, Cary managed to maintain their lead with two further tries: one from Devon Waine, who also handed a gift try to Paul Williamson.

Gary Reynolds converted three of the tries, and Cary's captain, Dave Bifulco, awarded Man of the Match to Caro Zalinski.
