CCRFC U14 v Frome U14

Castle Cary suffered a heavy defeat to an experienced Frome side. Despite fielding two debutants and two backs in their forwards, Cary's pack initially held their own before succumbing to Frome's nous in the loose play.

Frome's experience and size eventually took its toll and despite courageous defence by Jack Chandler, Henry Russell and Jordan Smith amongst others, Cary conceded a total of 9 unanswered tries.

Playing his first game, James Tiley earned himself Cary's Man of the Match by demonstrating huge potential.

Bath U11 v CCRFC U11

Against the run of play, Cary scored a superb try through Man of the Match George Parry to put a score on an otherwise mediocre performance, due in part to poor attendance.

Frome U11 v CCRFC U11

Losing heavily to the Bath side, Cary came back at Frome trying to prove to themselves that they were better than the first result suggested.

With good rucking and mauling from the forwards and scrum-half Tom Wilkinson passing to Mac Bayliss, running some good line to get the backs moving. A few wayward passes bought Frome into the game for them to score the first of their two tries. Cary broke away with Tom Wilkinson to score to make the scores 10–5 at the final whistle.
